The Elim Difference
At all stages of life, the strength of Elim Village lies in its strong sense of community.
Our values are inherited from a rich tradition of Christian service. The consistent message is to honour and respect people, believe in the power of community, and demonstrate servant-leadership.
The community of Elim Village provides a sense of security that allows residents to relax and enjoy life, knowing that care options are nearby when they need them. Many residents visit friends or volunteer within the community and feel a kinship with each other no matter where they happen to reside.
In striving to meet the physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual needs of its residents, Elim has developed an integrated model of care that will continue to elevate the level of services available to all residents.
At Elim, Wellness is not just about your medications and blood pressure. It’s about the whole person – physical, mental and spiritual. Aging is a process of constant change and we are here to be a positive part of that change! Join us and make the most out of life!
A Community of Care
The strength of Elim Village lies in its strong sense of community. Integrated by faith, the many layers of the village – residents, employees, volunteers and service providers, work in harmony. The pooled energy, resources and talents make for a kaleidoscope of social and activity groups that keep the mind and body engaged. Many staff and residents form special bonds as staff go out of their way to provide exceptional service and residents are quick to express their appreciation.
A Spiritual Focus
Elim Village is a community rooted in faith. Christian principles are foundational to the sensitive care, respectful attitude and outstanding service at Elim Village. Our full-time pastor and a trained volunteer pastoral care team organize Sunday morning church services, concerts, hymn sings and a drop-in Grief and Loss Support Group. They offer prayers, guidance and support to residents and families, especially during times of crisis.
