Independent Living Residents Receive Vaccination

Yesterday was a great day – 271 Independent Living residents from Elim’s Fleetwood campus received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The atmosphere was upbeat with the sun shining, a hint of spring in the air, and the opportunity for residents to catch up with their neighbours during the monitoring period post-vaccination. A big thank you goes out to the fantastic team from Fraser Health who partnered with us to host this clinic onsite, as well as to the volunteers and staff who facilitated the day.

In addition, with B.C. having now entered Phase 2 of the provincial Immunization Plan, residents of our Garrison Crossing campus will soon have opportunity for their own vaccination.
