Elim Village operates two exceptional aging in place communities for older adults. Our retirement villages are located in Surrey and Chilliwack, B.C., where over 1,000 seniors call Elim Village ‘home’. Job Summary

The Esthetician is responsible for performing all Elim Village spa and salon treatments and ensuring all clients are attended to in a prompt and respectful manner. Additional responsibilities include maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation of the entire spa and salon. Further, the Esthetician shall be responsible for understanding and achieving Elim Village goals.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma required
• Esthetician Certificate required
• 2-5 years’ experience considered an asset
• High grooming standards required
• Previous experience in a senior living community or working with older adults

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have empathy towards residents and be able to work well with them
• Superior relational skills and a genuine customer-service focus
• Great at multi-tasking, handling multiple and shifting demands and timelines
• Good organizational skills

Notes

• This is a contract position
• Compensation is a base wage of $17.59 per hour plus commission (retail sales and service revenue)
