Virtual Dementia Tour
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live with dementia? With Second Wind Dreams’ Virtual Dementia Tour, you can step into the shoes of someone with dementia and experience a life changing simulation, teaching you how to provide better care.
“My mom struggled with dementia for 12 years, but it wasn’t until I spent 8 minutes inside the Virtual Dementia Tour that I truly understood what her world was like.”

Virtual Dementia Tour at Elim Village Fleetwood
Join us on April 26th or 27th for a Virtual Dementia Tour, held in person at Elim Village Fleetwood. Experience what it is like to walk in the shoes of someone with dementia, through a guided experience where participants are outfitted with patented devices that alter their senses while they try to complete common everyday tasks and exercises. The Tour enables caregivers to experience for themselves the mental and physical challenges experienced by those with dementia, and adjust their caregiving approach accordingly.
The Virtual Dementia Tour is open to all ELIM staff and to the broader seniors living community.
Limited spots are available. Register today to guarantee your spot.
The overall experience is 60-minutes in length.
This includes check-in, preparation for the Tour, the Virtual Dementia Tour itself (an 8-minute experience), a group debrief, and a short education session.
