On January 6, 2021, administration of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine began for residents of Full Care, Assisted Living, and staff. Residents of Elim’s Independent Living community in Fleetwood had opportunity to receive the first dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine on March 3, 2021.
Elim Village continues to monitor the provincial rollout of the vaccine to learn when it will be available for residents of our Garrison Crossing community.
All Provincial Health Officer orders and guidelines remain in place. Elim continues to maintain high standards of infection control procedures to support the highest possible level of safety for our community.
